Feeling OK and Not OK
Nothing is ever smooth 100% of the time. The sea isn't and life certainly isn't. For most of us it is a balancing act of mind, body and spirit. A little bit of this and a little bit of that creates a sense of harmony or flow - of feeling OK.
Sometimes we get stuck.
For one reason or another the flow gets interrupted and we can't seem to come un-stuck. We don't feel OK.
But things can and do change, and you will eventually, and perhaps with a little support, figure out how to move forward in your own particular way.
Why can't I do this on my own?
But we are put on this earth as a bunch of humans to help each other, so it is in our DNA to seek help from another.
Reaching out and talking things through with someone objective offers a safe and confidential space for just you and your concerns - To figure things out rather than toughing it out!
How does it work?
You have to feel comfortable with your therapist. If you choose to work with me I am an Integrative Counsellor. That is to say, I do not focus on just one therapeutic modality such as CBT, Gestalt or Psychodynamics, though I do have a special interest in and experience with Mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR for adults and teens). Instead I will draw from several areas depending on your current needs, and including your individual characteristics, preferences, past history, beliefs and motivation levels.
You will talk, I will listen, you will talk some more. I may offer feedback, suggestions, or challenges. Along the way, you may gain new insight, perspective and perhaps some new ideas. Ultimately, you are the one who is in charge, because you are the expert of your own unique life.
Counselling sessions are booked individually @ 55euro per full hour.

I am a fully qualified and experienced Nutritionist with over 20 years experience and a Mindful Eating Coach. I have experience delivering Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programmes to adults and young people.
This consists of a 5 week programme with sessions taking place once a week - 1 full hour each.
You will learn to notice why and how you eat rather than the usual focus on what you eat. This is NOT a weight loss programme, nor a diet or any sort. ( Weight loss diets tend not to work in the long run). This is a lifestyle approach that will encourage a renewed relationship with food, one in which food is not the source of confusion or discomfort. You will learn to understand what makes you tick, how you behave around food and how to make friends with it - and yourself!
Mindfulness and Mindful Eating are both evidence based modalities i.e backed by scientific research, but they are also a great window of opportunity into a life filled with more peace and, as always, delicious food.
A 5 week programme paid up front @ Euro 300
Nutritional Advice per session @ 55 per full hour
