This is one truism that holds true for everyone to this day.
Ever since I encountered this quote from Seneca, an Ancient Roman Philosopher, it has helped me whenever I was lost in my journey. Because it happens so often in life, that we feel that no matter how much we push we seem to be unable to reach our goals.
But knowing which port you want, or indeed need, to sail towards is no easy task. It requires you dig deep into who you are so you can find what you need from your life. Then, and only then, can you know which port you want, or need, to sail towards.

Digging into who you are requires discovering the "WHY" that drives you, just as Friedrich Nietzsche once said "He who has a why to live can bear almost any how." It is this process that will allow you to make sense of the suffering of your life, and make it worthwhile.
